The goal of the project for SVT (Sveriges Television) in Sweden was to create a flexible LED scenography for television productions. The system needed to ensure high image quality for camera recording, the ability to quickly rearrange the studio layout, and stable performance during daily program production.

The project involved the delivery of 5 stationary LED screens and 1 mobile screen, totaling 65 m² of surface area. Custom steel structures were built to allow for screens with significant curvatures—both concave and convex. The screens were equipped with flexible LED modules, then calibrated and configured specifically for television camera requirements.

Zastosowane rozwiązania

The use of flexible LED modules allowed for the creation of screens with tight radii without visible gaps, ensuring a seamless image surface. Dedicated steel structures, made from precision laser-cut components, enabled the exact reproduction of the required curves.

The mobile screen is equipped with Blickle wheels and a retractable handle, allowing it to be easily moved between rooms and used in various scenographic configurations.

The system is equipped with 12 Novastar controllers and IC drivers, providing a refresh rate of up to 3840 Hz. This solution reduces image flickering during camera recording, resulting in a stable and clear picture for television productions.
